Some of our most cherished memories are captured on video tapes, 8mm film, slides and old photos. The stories these tell cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged. Many of these tapes, film, slides and photos are already at risk from deterioration. My name is Bob, and I'll be happy to help you with your digital conversion of these tapes and photos.
I love turning old video tapes, film, photos, and slides (memories) into digital files which can be used to create custom slideshows, calendars, DVD’s etc... Your photos, slides and tapes will come alive again! I love restoring memories for those who do not have the equipment, time, or know how to do it on their own.
Just pack up your old photos, slides, film and/or tapes and send them to me. I will personally hand scan all of your photos and transfer your old tapes and film to digital files. I will send you back (USPS) all of your original photos, film and tapes along with your newly digitized images/movie files. All work is done by me personally to ensure security, quality work and timely turnaround.
I can transfer VHS, VHS-C , MiniDV, and 8mm Tape (8mm, Hi8 or Digital8) to MP4 digital format.
Due to my low prices, I only transfer consumer model NTSC format 8MM, Hi8, Digital8, and VHS tapes. I do not process, PAL, SECAM or any other foreign format, DVCAM, DVCPRO, BETA or any other commercial or professional tapes as they are often recorded with settings that I do not accommodate.
I can take your old 8MM and Super8 film reels and convert them into movie files to share. Using state of the art technology, I do a frame by frame digital scanning process straight to a 1080P MP4 movie file.
I can scan printed Photographs and negatives to high quality digital image files (300 DPI or higher).

I wish I could give a higher rating than just 5 stars. I had 16 -8mm reels my mom found in her shed. Some of these are over 50 years old I wanted to send them off to see if there was actually any video that could be saved knowing how old they were and how they were stored I wasn't expecting much. Found Restored-memories on a Google search when I was looking for a service for these. These were received on. Tuesday. I got an email saying they were received then on Wednesday I got a shipping notification. Along with the notification with a very message. Explaining that Some of them had deterioration and why this happens and one of the videos was kind of jumpy. He had already completed the job in 1 DAY! Will never use anyone else.
I cannot even begin to describe how exciting it is to watch all of our home movies so easily now. We were able to hear my dad's voice for the first time since his passing in 2015 as well as my uncle who has been gone for about 18 years now. We wouldn't have been able to do this without the help of 'Restored Memories'. What a gift. When all of my 14 VHS tapes were successfully transferred, he was kind enough to let me know that there were a couple of videos that had some issues with mold which could affect audio and visual quality. Even the ones that were negatively affected by the mold came out pretty decent! He even ships back your originals at his expense. great work, fast and answered all my questions quickly . Also great price ...200 dollars cheaper then I was previously quoted by another company. Bob transferred 375 slides onto a flash drive in the order I requested ..next I'm going to send him video tapes.
